"Samajwadi Party is nothing but the B-Team of Congress. Its history has been one of a trusted ally of the Congress. Eight years back, it had on its own submitted a letter of support for the UPA to the President," BJP spokesperson J P Nadda said.
He pointed out that Mulayam was present at the recent dinner hosted by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to celebrate the achievements of the Manmohan Singh government.
"SP fights with Congress in Lucknow and engages with it in a mock-fight in Delhi," Nadda claimed.
After the party's two-day national executive meet in Kolkata, Mulayam at a press conference said, "Third Front is always formed after elections after gauging the situation and not not before polls. A decision on forming the Third Front will be taken after seeing the results of the 2014 polls."
The BJP spokesperson said SP is a psuedo-secular party which does not have the right to speak against communalism anymore.
"Six communal riots have taken place in Uttar Pradesh since the present SP government came to power. But no arrests have been made. SP has been exposed to the world now and it should stop pretending," Nadda said.
