"If there is one thing BJP does, it is spreading anger. Pitting Hindus against Muslims...It does so full-time. But when people die, its leaders are nowhere to be seen," the Congress Vice President alleged at a rally here.
Recalling his conversation with an intelligence officer, he said that he was told that many victims of Muzaffarnagar riots are planning to crossover to Pakistan because they are very angry.
"He (officer) told me he was talking to them (victims) and trying to stop them... This anger is fed to people. This terrorism is fed to people," Gandhi said.
Gandhi said he felt deeply about the unity of the country and against terrorism because he had seen how people who were so close to his family targeted them because of anger and hate poured into them.

"I want to share my story with you," he said.
He said he used to play with Indira's killers, Satwant Singh and Beant Singh, who were in her security, and they killed her one day in anger.
"This country can not move ahead with anger. With love, we can move ahead together. We should be together in war, in life and in death. If we are together, nobody can touch us," he said.
He said her mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi was not happy when he spoke in a recent rally about her strong emotions after she could not cast her vote on food security bill due to her poor health.
