Addressing an election meeting in the run to civic polls at Sanver, Yadav said that after the BJP came to power at the Centre, it has reduced financial assistance to the state.
"This has multiplied the state's debt and forced MP to run its show with overdrafts," he said.
He said that development took place in MP during UPA rule at the Centre and thrashed MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's claim that BJP stands for development, and the state would further prosper if the party swept civic body elections.
