Haryana Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu today said the BJP-led state government would make every possible effort to create a congenial environment for promotion of business and industry.
Speaking in Rohtak today, Capt. Abhimanyu said the state government was working on 'Fast Track Clearance Scheme' to lend pace to industrial growth. The single window facility will facilitate all types of clearances to those setting up industry or launching business, he said.
The minister claimed no clearance could be obtained from the single window facility during the tenure of the erstwhile government. This resulted in decline in manufacturing growth and it cost the state dear in terms of revenue, he said.
With the installation of the BJP government, industry and business would be promoted to provide more jobs to the youth, he said.
He expressed commitment that the state government would provide honest system of functioning in the state.
Replying to a question, Capt. Abhimanyu said the state was reeling under financial crisis due to the alleged wrong policies pursued by the previous Congress government.
"Haryana has financial debt of Rs 81,000 crore. Cases of financial irregularities have also been found which will be made public and legal action taken against those found guilty," said Capt. Abhimanyu, who also holds the industry and commerce portfolio.
The minister hinted that the state government would adopt a rationalised system to fix toll tax.
