Dhariwal, who is accused of illegal transfer of lease deed of a cooperative land to a private firm and summoned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the case, had earlier today denied the charges against him and accused the ruling BJP government of playing "political vendetta" against him.
"BJP government does not interfere in the working of an independent agency like ACB probing the single deed of 28 beegha alloted to Ganapati Construction Company at throw away prices in Gehlot's tenure of 2011", state party President Ashok Parnami said at a press conference here.
He alleged that on October 28, 1999 the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) had issued an order that no housing society will have a right to transfer any "land deed", adding though this bar was extended on societies demand up to September 30, 1999.
The JDA can not approve or allot the plot above 1,500 yards and the proposal had to go through the state government, he said, adding that the previous Congress government allotted the "single land deed" to the said company, having 177 members in the society which was "illegal and a decision in haste".
The BJP leader showed a series of documents regarding the scam at the press conference.
ACB has arrested RAS officer Nishkam Diwakar who was posted in the UDH department in 2011 and has also summoned former Additional Principal Secretary UDH G S Sandhu besides Dhariwal in the case.
