Its president Virendra Singh 'Mast' said it is imperative to ensure that the main farm products get a ready market in various states so that farmers do not suffer losses. They resorted to protests in Madhya Pradesh because their produce was not getting sold, he said.
He told reporters that he will write to chief ministers on the matter.

With increasing demand from farmers in different states for a loan waiver on the lines of Uttar Pradesh, he said these governments should consider it but insisted that it was a temporary solution.

The remaining loan of farmers who pay their instalments in time should also be waived off in such a situation, he said.
He also took a dig at RBI Governor Urjit Patel after he warned that the fiscal situation would get out of hand if the states unabatedly continue to waive farm loans.
