The campaign will continue for a month and party workers will reach out to every household seeking contributions and appealing to them to cast their vote on BJP's symbol lotus (kamal) in the general elections.
The "Ek Note, Kamal par Vote (one currency note, vote on lotus)" campaign was kicked off by BJP's national president Rajnath Singh in the presence of thousands of party workers at the Constitution Club here.
"The people of this country are tired of rampant corruption and opportunistic policies of the Congress-led UPA. They are looking for a change and BJP has emerged as the only viable alternative for the people," Singh said.
BJP's state unit president Vijay Goel urged the party workers to expose the Aam Aadmi Party's U-turn and alliance with corrupt Congress during this campaign.
