The Opposition parties while claiming that the pepper spray incident involving expelled Congress MP L Rajagopal was deliberately done condemned it as "disgraceful", "shameful" and "sad" for Parliament. The incident has crossed all limits, they said.
The TDP, a regional party from Andhra Pradesh, also echoed the views of the BJP and Left and targeted the Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
"Whatever has happened in Parliament is not just unfortunate but also shameful...For this, the Congress party is solely responsible. It is a drama enacted by the Congress," he added.
Advani's party colleague Sushma Swaraj, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, said the pandemonium during when Rajagopal used pepper spray was part of the Congress design.
