At a press conference, three senior Ministers of teh city Government -- Harun Yusuf, Raj Kumar Chauhan and Arvinder Singh Lovely -- came down heavily on Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel accusing him of trying to mislead people to win the assembly polls.
"BJP is making false allegations on every possible issue. It shows the party's frustration. They are scared of another electoral defeat," Singh said.
Asked about BJP's allegation that city government was hand in glove with police in removing posters and hoardings of Narendra Modi in the city, he termed it as "totally baseless" saying all the actions are being taken as per instructions of the Election Commission.
On BJP's allegation of government hand in transfer of 21 SHOs, he said city government does not have any role in shifting of police personnel.

Earlier BJP had alleged that an "unannounced emergency" has been clamped in Delhi to manipulate poll outcome. It had slammed the removal of Modi's hoarding and transfer of SHOs in the city and charged the police with being hand in glove with the Dikshit government.
"The BJP should first reduce power rates in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and then talk about Delhi," said Yusuf.
Accusing Goel of misleading people on the power tariff issue, he said "Goel crosses all limits of distorting facts. The increase power tariff has been between 50-172 per cent in the last couple of years and not 300 per cent as claimed by the Delhi BJP chief."
On Goel's question that why 72 lakh people in the city need subsidised food grains under the food security programme when per capita income is highest in the country, Yusuf said the legislation provides for such a coverage.
