BJP likely to come out with 2nd list of LS candidates on March

BJP is likely to announce its second list of candidates for coming Lok Sabha elections on March 8 when the party's Central Election Committee meets here.
Sources said the poll panel, chaired by party president Rajnath Singh of which senior party leaders like L K Advani, Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley are members, will meet on March 8 to discuss and decide on the party candidates from bigger states.
Among the bigger states that will be discussed in the next meeting of CEC are Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Katnataka, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and others.
The party has already declared its first list of 54 candidates on February 27 who include former BJP chief Nitin Gadkari, ex-Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shanta Kumar, party's deputy leader in Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde and Yuva Morcha chief Anurag Thakur.
The party nominated two Muslim candidates in Jammu and Kashmir--Gulam Mohammad Mir in Baramulla and Mushtaq Ahmad Malik Nurabadi--in Anantnag constituencies.
