"Our ministers in PDP-BJP coalition are working towards fulfilling the poll promises in Jammu and Kashmir," BJP state general secretary Ashok Kaul said.
With a motive to highlight the achievements of the coalition governments in the state and at the Centre, two massive 'Vikas Sushashan Sankalap' rallies were held at Banihal and Ukhral in Ramban district.
"The MLAs and MLCs are also putting their best efforts to ensure that people in their respective areas are not made to suffer anymore and that they get basic facilities at their doorstep," Kaul told people during the rallies.
"Amnesty scheme in J&K's power sector, artificial lake, tourist spots development, Food Security Act and concern for Village Development Committees (VDCs) speak of the seriousness on part of state government to ensure development," he said.

He said people should not get misled by negative campaign of opposition parties and rather be in touch with the party to get exact information on the achievements of the government.
J&K Minister of State, Roads and Buildings Sunil Sharma, who also addressed the rallies, said that with the formation of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, a number of projects have been launched for the overall development and welfare of the people across the country.
"Our coalition has developed work culture in the administration... Not a single case of corruption has come up. An era of development has started," Sunil said, adding that the opposition parties cannot digest the popularity of the present government and, hence, their leaders are indulging in "false and misleading propaganda".
