"We have written an open letter to Kejriwal ji demanding that Law Minister should be sacked. We will fight till our demands are met. We will even take it up with the President," said Harsh Vardhan.
The protesting MLAs sat outside the chief minister's office on the third floor of the Secretariat for around two hours. Holding placards, they raised slogans against Bharti and demanded his resignation.
Later, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met Vardhan and other BJP MLAs and asked them to scale down their protest.
Bharti has been facing severe criticism after he allegedly led a group of AAP workers last week in a raid at the houses of some African nationals. He has also drawn flak from several quarters for having allegedly misbehaved with some women during the raid.
