Participating in a discussion on atrocities on women in Lok Sabha, Sadhvi Savitri Bai Phoole claimed that crime against women in Uttar Pradesh has been increasing day by day and alleged that police and administration were giving patronage to criminals.
"I demand that the UP government should be dismissed immediately as there is complete breakdown of law and order," she said.
Phoole, a member from Uttar Pradesh, said people will get relief only when the Samajwadi Party government is removed and a BJP-led government assumes power.
"Justice delayed is justice denied. I have failed to understand what is preventing the Central government from setting up special courts and fastrack courts in different parts of the country," she said.
