Sharad Tripathi said Lovkesh Mishra, a B.Tech student of Lucknow's BNCET college, had committed suicide last week.
He claimed that Lovkesh had taken extreme step after being allegedly insulted by the Head of Department (HoD) for non-payment of fees.
"No one has taken a note of it. Had his name been Khaild or Faisal, then perhaps the Opposition would have taken note of his death...The way it is using Rohith Vemula for votes," said Tripathi while raising the matter.
BJD MP Balbhadra Majhi raised the issue of difference between the MRP on medicines and its actual cost and wondered whether such companies were paying any taxes.
