BJP MP says Modi positive about setting up airport, nuke plant

BJP MP from Jamshedpur, Bidyut Baran Mahato today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government has shown keen interest to establish an airport and a nuclear power plant in the vicinity of the city here.
"I have discussed the issue with Modi ji as well as the concerned Union Minister for Civil Aviation in this regard recently and they have shown keen interest to set up an airport and a nuclear power plant in and around the steel city here," Mahato told a press conference here.
He said survey work for the airport was going on and suitable land identified.

The industrial area of Kandra, about 22 km from here in adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan distirct and Nargo, about 15 km from here, beside NH 33 in East Singhbhum distirct has vast vacant land available.
