The Bhojpuri actor-turned-politician was referring to the Congress support taken by AAP after the last Assembly polls "despite swearing by his children of not allying with the party".
"Let your children live. We don't want to drag your children into politics. It seems he (Kejriwal) is the enemy of his children. We pray his children grow beyond his shadow, his lies. Kejriwal shouldn't ruin the lives of Delhi's children, so it is necessary to bring Kiran Bedi," said Tiwari at a rally in Azadpur area of Model Town constituency.
"When you asked her (Bedi) to become the Chief Minister, she said your party isn't suitable, that time Kiran Bedi was nice for you. Now, when BJP's honest Prime Minister has chosen Kiran Bedi as CM candidate, you write behind autos that she is an opportunist," he said.
The BJP MP took a dig at the AAP chief's resignation as Delhi chief minister after 49-days with the catch phrase, "bijli adha, pani maff, unnachas din mein sarkar saff (electricity half, water free, in 49 days, government flees)".
The BJP has fielded the National Convener of its RTI cell, Vivek Garg from the seat.
