"Vikramaditya had informed former Chief Minister P K Dhumal about the programme to stage demonstration at BJP office and that afforded time to the BJP workers to collect rods and stones which were used for attack", he said while talking to Media persons.
Vikramaditya, son of chief minister, had led the Youth Congress demonstration on January 29.
He said that youth Congress workers were demonstrating peacefully and Vikramaditya repeatedly asked them to remain peaceful.
Rejecting BJP's demand for a CBI probe into the incident, Chief Minister said that the state police was fully competent to probe the matter.

He said that the media blew up the issue beyond proportion and there was no report about three Congress workers whose legs were fractured and the focus was only on one BJYM worker, who sustained eye injury.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner had also ordered a magisterial enquiry into the incident and directed the Additional District Magistrate (ADM),law and order, D K Rattan to submit the report within a week.
