The BJP Parliamentary Party will meet at the party's new headquarters here on Friday and the meeting will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah and others senior leaders.
BJP Parliamentary Party secretary Bala Subrahmanyam Kamarsu, in a message, informed its MPs about the meeting, the first assembly of its MPs in its new office at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. The evening meeting will be followed by a dinner.
The meeting comes amid little sign of a thaw in the deadlock that has marred the second leg of Parliament's Budget Session, which started on March 5 and has seen relentless protests by opposition parties over a variety of issues.
The din has resulted in adjournment of both Houses of Parliament daily without transacting any serious business. The government has, however, managed to get a few bills passed without any debate amid the din.
The meeting will also be the first after the party suffered reverses in Lok Sabha bypolls in Uttar Pradesh.
It had lost bypolls to three Lok Sabha seats, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's bastion of Gorakhpur.
