BJP President Amit Shah would address a mammoth public rally on December 13 here being organised by Vasundhra Raje-led Rajasthan government to mark its second year in office.
Over 3 lakh party workers and office bearers, including leaders, ministers (both of state and Union government), would be addressed by Shah on December 13 at Janpath here, state Minister Rajendra Rathore told reporters after a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Raje.
The state government would invite its elected representatives from Panchayat to civic bodies, assembly to parliament and even block level workers to ensure a heavy turnout in the rally which would celebrate BJP's continous victory in elections and performance of the government under Raje's leadership, Rathore said.
On the occassion, the state government would also organise exhibitions about its development activities and the progress made in the last two years, he said, adding, Raje will also make announcement for new plans, including medical and health insurance policy, for people of the state.
State Party President Ashok Parnami said it would be a historical mega-event.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Rajasthan PCC President Sachin Pilot today criticised the proposed celebrations, saying it would be a waste of government funds.

Terming the bash as "sheer propoganda", Pilot said it would be an illogical celebration as the public mandate was given for five years.
He said the public has faced inflation, deteriorating law and order situation, hike in prices, atrocities on women, farmer suicides, tribal and dalits' woes and added that the state government should introspect on these issuses before holding a bash.
Pilot said the public never participated in the government functions and only party workers would enjoy the day on December 13.
