BJP protests against non-payment of sugarcane dues

Members of BJP Kisan Morcha today held protest outside the district collectorate against non-payment of sugarcane farmers' dues by a private sugar mill here.
Seeking immediate clearance of the payments, protesters also accused the mill of stopping purchase of sugarcane from farmers, leading to severe economic hardships to them.
They submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor, seeking his intervention in the matter.
