BJP-ruled states' culture ministers meeting tomorrow

Culture ministers of the BJP-ruled states will tomorrow participate in a meeting, which will also be attended by senior party leaders Ram Lal and Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, aimed at the review of programmes to propagate the ideology of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
Sahasrabuddhe told reporters the meeting will review works undertaken by the party-ruled states to spread thoughts and ideas of Upadhyay, the Jana Sangh leader who is a key ideologue of the saffron outfit.
The meeting will be held under the aegis of the BJP's good governance department headed by Sahasrabuddhe.
After coming to the power in 2014, the party has undertaken a number of initiatives to popularise Upadhyay's ideas, including his philosophy of integral humanism, as it believes that the Hindutva mascot did not get his due in governments headed by non-BJP parties.

With the party currently celebrating his birth centenary, it has given a push to related programmes.
