No "lapse" has been found on the part of the Delhi Police in connection with a 'dharna' led by Opposition leader Vijender Gupta outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's office in June, the Delhi Assembly was informed today.
The general administration department of the Delhi government said this in response to a question on the dharna.
The department shared a report of the assistant commissioner of police (GNCT Security) which read, "Delhi Police has been assigned the external security of Delhi Secretariat i.e. entry access control whereas the internal security of the building is looked after by the private security."
