According to an affidavit filed along with his nomination papers on April 22, 63-year-old Rajasekharan have Rs 10,000 cash in hand and fixed deposits of about Rs 39,000.
He has no jewellery or vehicle of his own. The current market value of about 25 cents of land, which he inherited, comes to about Rs 10 lakh, it was stated.
He has a share in the party newspaper 'Janmabhumi' of Rs 5,100.
No case is pending against him in any court, as per the affidavit.

In the affidavit filed along with his nomination on April 22, the 58-year-old son of Congress veteran and former Chief Minister late K Karunakaran, has stated that movable and immovable assets in his spouse's name come to around Rs 5.76 crore.
He has cash in hand of Rs 20,000 and his spouse Rs 32,000, the affidavit said. He has a building worth Rs 13,20,000 at Kozhikode besides 20.5 cents of land.
He also owns two Innova cars as per the affidavit.
