BJPs Telangana unit president K Laxman Friday met Union Ministers Suresh Prabhu, Harsh Vardhan and K J Alphonsin Delhi and urged them to sanction severalprojects to the state, including setting up of an aviation university in Hyderabad.
Laxman met Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu and requested him to establish the aviation university in the city, BJP said in a media release here.
The BJP leader urged the Union Science and Technology and Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan to allot more funds for utilization of services of Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Hyderabad.
He also met Union Tourism Minister K J Alphons and proposed developing a 'Buddhist Circuit' in Telangana, the party said.
