Talking to media persons here, BJP general secretary Kirit Somaiya, who is also the co-coordinator of party's Anti Corruption Cell, alleged Beniwal had tried to acquire huge piece of land in Rajasthan by submitting false information.
"In the information submitted for acquiring the land, Beniwal has claimed that she is a farmer and that she spends 16 hours daily in farming," Somaiya said.
He alleged that the information given by her was totally "incorrect and fake," and wondered how a person holding office of the Governor could spend 16 hours daily in the farm.
Somaiya demanded either the Governor's removal or an enquiry against her in the case.
"Beniwal should either be removed from her post of the Governor of Gujarat or an enquiry should be ordered against her to find out her role in the case," he added.
He said BJP top leaders would soon meet President Pratibha Patil and urge her to remove Beniwal from the post.
When asked whether Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi would attend BJP's National Executive meet, Somaiya said it should be left to him to decide.
