The party said it took Singh's slur against Mayawati very seriously and expelled him from the party but she was "justifying" Siddiqui's use of derogatory language and her stand was condemnable.
"Siddiqui said Singh's daughter should be presented before the crowd. This is an insult to the woman; sisters and daughters. We condemn Mayawati's justification of it. She should not do politics over it and damage the state's social harmony in her greed for power.
The BSP supremo had reportedly said that her followers treat her like a "deity" and were making angry statements due to Singh's comments against her.
The state's social cohesion had suffered due to the poor law and order situation under the Samajwadi Party government, he alleged, adding that Mayawati's stand can worsen it.

Meanwhile, in Lucknow the UP unit of the BJP today strongly condemned slogans raised by BSP workers against women family members of expelled leader Dayashankar Singh during yesterday's dharna and announced that the BJP will stage dharna at all district headquarters tomorrow.
"The manner in which BSP workers led by Naseemuddin Siddiqui tarnished the image of women community is highly condemnable," BJP UP president Keshav Prasad Maurya said in a statement issued here.
He said that it would have been better if Mayawati herself would have lodged an FIR against her leaders and workers and expelled them, but instead of doing so she was giving logic to protect them.
He said that if BSP workers were not arrested, BJP would take to the street for the respect of a girl.
He announced that BJP would stage demonstrations at all district headquarters demanding arrest of BSP workers and submit a memorandum to the Governor.
