Led by state BJP Secretary Vibodh Gupta, over 150 party activists moved towards Mankote belt in a cavalcade of 60 vehicles to protest the barbaric killing of two Indian troops.

They were stopped by security forces at Bhimbher Gali in Balakote sub-sector where they held a demonstration against Pakistan.

Chanting pro-Indian army slogans, they demanded that New Delhi should snap all ties with Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, state party Secretary Vibodh Gupta said the main objective of the protest was to boost the morale of Indian Army.

He asked the international community to take notice of the incident.
