BJP to get more than 60 seats in HP assembly elections: Dhumal

Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister and leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Prem Kumar Dhumal today claimed the BJP will win more than 60 out of the 68 Assembly seats in the state.
"Earlier the party had set a goal of winning 50 plus seats. But going by the response of people we are sure the 60 seats mark will be breached," he said after returning from his tour of Kinnaur district.
Claiming people were coming to BJP rallies in huge numbers from every nook and corner of the state, Dhumal said," Every section of the society is fed-up with corruption and non-performance of the current government and are desperate for a change."

Dubbing the remarks of the Chief Minister that BJP's "charge-sheet" will be thrown into a dustbin as a reflection of "unease", Dhumal said, "When the BJP announced it would prepare a charge sheet about acts of omission and commission of the government it unnerved him into thinking what would happen when the charge-sheet is submitted to the Governor and President of India."
Dhumal said the government's performance had been dismal in its past four years and it had failed to implement its poll promises, and had also demoralised the bureaucracy by forcing honest and dedicated officers to work under their juniors.
