To give fillip to its preparations for upcoming Delhi assembly elections, BJP will hold a crucial meet of its state executive on June 18 to discuss poll strategy.
The party will also hold a series of public meetings over the next few days to highlight issues concerning various sections of the society and failure of the Congress government, a statement issued by the party said.
The BJP is adopting a two-pronged strategy for the assembly polls, Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel said.
"We are mobilising our cadres and leaders at the organisational front in preparation for assembly polls and we are also running a campaign to hold rallies to identify the issues concerning common people, besides highlighting failure of the Congress government," Goel said.
He said a "corrupt and inefficient government" which is more concerned about spending hard-earned money of tax payers on fake publicity campaigns when it has nothing to show on the ground in terms of achievements has to be done away with.
"BJP is all geared up to do that," Goel said.
He said, "The party will hold a youth convention in Talkatora stadium on June 16 and BJP president Rajnath Singh will address it. BJP will also hold public rallies at Palam and Kirari over the next few days.
"On June 14, we have convened a meeting of coordinators of all 70 assembly constituencies which were appointed recently to look after poll preparations," he said.
