It would also sought strengthening of the Village Defence Committees (VDCs) which have played a vital role controlling militancy.
"After the Independence Day, our party will launch a sustained agitation in support of the demands conceded by the government in the wake of Kishtwar incidents," state party president Jugal Kishore Sharma told reporters here.
"These demands include immediate release of innocent persons under detention, paying compensation to the minority traders who has suffered during the Kishtwar riots and further strengthening of the VDCs," he added.
The party along with other organisations had called for a bandh last Saturday in protest against the communal violence in Kishtwar. It had later extended the bandh to Sunday and Monday, demanding resignation of MoS Home Sajjad Kitchloo.
Meanwhile, VHP said that it will launch an agitation from August 16 in support of its demand for full compensation for losses incurred by minority community traders in Kishtwar in the communal clashes which rocked the town on Eid.
