The ruling BJPs Jharkhand unit will observe cleanliness drive between September 15 and October 2 down to the booth level, its state unit president Laxman Gilua said Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference here, the Lok Sabha member said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address from New Delhi at 9.30 am on September 15, to appeal to everyone to give one hour every day on cleanliness drive.
Giving details of some upcoming party events, he said BJP will observe September 16, one month since the demise of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, with poetry reading, Gilua said, adding the poetry penned by Vajpayee would be read along with those written on him by the local poets.
The party will also observe Service Week from September 17 (prime ministers birthday) and to September 25 (Deen Dayal Upadhyays birth anniversary), Gilua said.
During this period medical camps will be set up for the poor, he said, adding film based on the Prime Minister --- Chalo Jite Hai will be shown.
