Setting BJP's agenda for the upcoming state polls, BJP state chief Vijay Goel said, "The executive committee has decided that BJP will target villages, slums, electricity crisis, women safety, youth issues and water management for the 2013 Assembly polls, as the current government has failed to address these issues."
"The political proposal was put forward by BJP State Vice-President Ramesh Bidhuri and supported by MLA Subhash Sachdeva," Goel said in a press conference after the first meeting of its state executive committee here.
"We would organise a giant rally in Ramlila Maidan in August over power crisis in the city," he said.
Goel claimed that BJP is setting the agenda which the Congress-led Sheila Dikshit government is following.
