BJP to start contact programme to thank new members

The state unit of BJP will start a contact programme wherein the party activists would go to the doorstep of every new member to thank them for joining the party.
"Through the Maha Sampark Abhiyaan, the party activists will be visiting the doorstep of every new member who joined the party to express the party's gratitude for opting to be a member of BJP", BJP's National Joint General secretary (organisation) B L Santhosh said during a party function here today.
The function was organised to prepare the party activists for undertaking the 'Maha Sampark Abhiyaan'. The 'Abhiyaan' would help to mobilise the new members to take active part in the party's activities, Santosh said.
While congratulating the state unit of the BJP for registering more than six lakh new members in a period of five months, Santhosh expressed hope that in the next three months the party will see more and more people joining it.
"The first phase was to register the new members and now the second phase is to approach these members at their doorsteps" he said.
He said that the third phase would involve to making it sure that the new members participate in the training workshops.

"And finally the entire exercise will conclude with the reorganisation of the party structure" he said.
Santhosh claimed that the membership drive through out the country has taken BJP at number one position and hence making it the largest political party in the world.
"This has happened as the people have realised that BJP is a party with inner democracy, it do not promote dynasty rule and any committed and hardworking activist of the party can become Prime Minister and National President", he said.
He said the development model and good governance of the party too has inspired the people to become BJP members.
"This is indeed a matter of pride for us and endorsement of our people friendly programmes and policies" he said.
