"This time we got around 56 lakh votes across Bengal. We will be increasing our strength in the days to come. We will be organizing party classes from mandal (local) level to top-level of the party in the districts. We aim to nurture 50,000 dedicated party cadre (whole timers) across the state as the first level of organizational exercise," BJP state unit president Dilip Ghosh said.
BJP state leadership held a meeting of office bearers of the party during the day in the presence of it's observer in-charge of Bengal Kailash Vijayvergiya.
Ghosh accused TMC of unleashing a "reign of terror" in districts as a part of post-poll violence across the state.
"Our workers are being beaten up in various parts of the districts. The post poll violence should be immediately stopped," he added.
