"The verdict of the court has vindicated BJP's stand that Amit Shah was innocent and was intentionally fabricated," Jugal Kishore Sharma, state president of BJP said.
He said that it was Congress that played conspiracy against Shah but the decision of the court has proved that truth cannot be suppressed.
"Congress in particular has always adopted such tactics to defame the popular faces of other political parties and create confusions in the minds of the people but today's decision has also strengthened the faith of the people in judiciary," Sharma said.
The court verdict today, meanwhile, triggered strong reactions from the opposition parties.
AAP said that there were "glaring discrepancies" in what is in the charge sheet and way the case was argued before the court.
Questioning CBI's role in the matter, Congress described the verdict as "strange and worrisome" and alleged that the "chained, caged and totally immobilised" probe agency was under "government pressure".
