Actor-turned-BJP candidate Smriti Irani today addressed a series of street corner meetings in Tiloi and Salon areas and said her party "will form the next government at the Centre and Amethi will make its contribution for it".
Addressing meetings at Fursatganj, Peedrhi, Bhagirathpur, Ramai, Jamuriya, Fula and Auri in Tiloi Assembly segment of Amethi parliamentary constituency, Irani said Amethi will make its contribution to make Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister.
Irani, who is pitted against Congress vice president and sitting MP Rahul Gandhi and AAP's Kumar Vishwas, said BJP will solve various problems of the people of Amethi.
Overwhelmed with the people's response to the party's campaign, BJP's Amethi media in-charge Govind Singh Chauhan said the constituency could throw up a "rather surprising result" in the Lok Sabha election.
