Black pepper, select copra gain on good demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode prices gained at the Spices market here today on rising demand from stockist and retailers.
Elsewhere, black pepper spurted on good retail demand.
While, ginger, copra rajapur and copra edible ruled stable in the absence of market moving factors.
Copra office Kozhikode rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,950 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 6,850.
Copra office Alapuzha also moved up by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 7,000 from Rs 6,950.
Black pepper climbed by Rs 2/13 per kg to Rs 447/488 as against Rs 445/475 previously.
