The story claimed the country star Shelton is in rehab. The complaint said "Blake Shelton has had enough," reported People magazine.
"To set the record straight - he is not in rehab, his 'close circle' is not trying to seek an intervention, and he is, in fact, hard at work on The Voice and other projects," the complaint said.
"The affair story was false. They did not have a sexual relationship or affair of any nature whatsoever," it further added.
