The militants hurled the bomb at Wangkhem market complex, about 35 Kms south-east of here, late last night. In the explosion, walls of the shop were damaged.
The shop-owner Kadamjit had contested the last Manipur Assembly election as a Trinamool Congress nominee from Wangkhem assembly constituency unsuccessfully.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility.
