Blaupunkt launches first brand shop in India

German car infotainment major Blaupunkt today launched its first brand shop in India as part of the company's strategy to scale up its distribution and reach across the country.
Located in Kochi, the shop will display the company's entire product portfolio as well also help the customers chose right products by providing expert advice.
"The Blaupunkt brand shop enables us to get closer to the customer, thereby helping us understand their requirements better. We aim at launching 20 more stores in the next two years," Blaupunkt CEO Lars Placke said in a statement.
The shop is owned by the Topmost group, the authorised distributors of Blaupunkt in Kerala.

"We are extremely glad to launch our first brand shop in India as an excellent platform for customers to experience Blaupunkt's premium sound, multimedia and navigation products and get customised solutions that enhance their driving experience," Blaupunkt India Director Pankaj Jagwani said.
