"We are at four per cent and we want 15 per cent," Blueair India business head Vijay Kannan said here today.
According to Kannan's estimates, the Indian air-purifier market is at a nascent stage and of 60,000-70,000 units a year.
Blueair said it is expecting high growth in India banking on poor air quality in cities. It wants to replicate the exponential growth the company has witnessed in China.
Blueair board member Erik afUgglas said the company sells its products in 50 markets and India is a critical market where it expected to acquire a significant market share.
