The bodies of a girl and a boy were found on railway tracks near Dorala railway police station here, with the police suspecting it to be a case of honour killing.
The deceased youth has been identified as Vivek Kumar (22), a polytechnic student, who was missing since Saturday and the identity of girl, whose age is estimated to be about 20-years-old, has not been established yet, police said today.
Prima facie it appears that the girl and the youth were friends and this was apparently an honour killing, police added.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem and further investigation is on, they said.
