Body found hanging from tree

The skeleton of a farmer, who went missing 15 months ago, was found hanging from a tree near Natham in the district, police said today.
A police team recovered the skeleton last night and a mobile phone found in the dress revealed that it belonged to one Nalliappan (55) near Melur in Madurai district.
Investigation revealed that he could have hanged himself due to a dispute in the family, 15 months ago.
Police had registered a man missing case on a complaint from Nalliappan's son.
