Body found on sports institution ground

The body of an unidentified man was today found on the premises of an institution in the Phoolbagan area in the eastern part of the city, the police said.
Morning walkers found the body of an unidentified person, who could be in his mid-30s this morning, at the East Calcutta District Sports Federation ground and informed the Phoolbagan Police Station, they said.
"There is no mark of injury externally and the person seems he is an outsider. There was nothing to get the identification of the body," a senior officer of the Phoolbagan Police Station said.
He said that the body had been sent to the NRS Hospital where it was declared "brought dead".

Police has initiated a probe, the officer said.
