As per the complaint filed by the deceased's mother Manjit Kaur, her son was killed by Harpal Singh alias Pala and his friend Jasbir Singh alias Babbu, police said.
Accused Jasbir Singh's younger brother was married to Manjit's younger sister Sarabjit Kaur who was allegedly poisoned to death by her in-laws in 2011, they said.
The family feud may have resulted in the death of Akashdeep Singh, a resident of Harchowal, police said.
