Body of 32-yr-old man recovered; family alleges foul play

The body of a 32-year-old private van driver was recovered from his room under mysterious circumstances in Kalyanpur area here with his family members alleging foul play, police said today.
According to a police spokesperson, they revived a call yesterday about the body of one Aditya Kumar Shukla being recovered with rope marks on his neck.
Anuradha, the wife of Aditya's neighbour Naresh Savita, told the police that she found the deceased hanging from the ceiling in his room in Gautam Vihar area and pulled him to ground considering there were chances of saving him, police said.
The police informed the family members of Aditya about his death who reached the spot. The deceased's sister Garima, however, suspects foul play in Aditya's death.

She alleged that Anuradha was in an illicit relationship with Aditya and her husband Naresh Savita objected to it, following which they hatched a plan to eliminate him.
The police has detained the couple and questioning them in in this regard.
The body has been sent for post mortem and a report is awaited to further probe the matter, following which action would be taken.
