Body of head constable found on NH

: The battered and bruised body of a traffic head constable was found on the National Highways at Seelanaikenpatty area today, police said.
The body of the 41-year-old man was recovered on a complaint by his wife that he had left home last evening and not returned.
Top police officials visited the spot and sniffer dogs were pressed into service.
The head constable had joined service in 1997.
