Body of headmistress found

The police today recovered the body of a 50-year-old headmistress of the Upper Primary School at Nimakhandi near here.
The deceased was identified as Sarojani Sahu (50). Her body was recovered from her residence at Somanath Nagar within Bada Bazara police station limits, by breaking the door.
The woman's husband Jogendra Kumar Sahu, a businessman, was not in the house when the police broke open the door.
The victim's brother Chintamani Sahu alleged that Jogendra might have throttled his wife to death last night and fled.
There was no other person present in the house, police said.
Some employees of the school had come to the house of the deceased to take the keys of the school this morning. Her husband, however, reportedly told them that his wife had already left for the school, the police said adding, investigations were on.
