Body of one day-old girl found

The body of a one-day-old girl was today recovered from near a garbage dumping yard of the district headquarters hospital, police said.
Some locals and attendants of patients spotted the body,Kendrapara police station inspector Pramod Kumar Lenka said.
Later police retrieved the body and a case was registered.
The child delivery register at the gynaecology and maternity ward of the hospital is being examined to trace the parents of the baby girl, he said.
