"We have recovered the body of Ashish Ranjan alias Neelu, who is a plus two student of a local English medium school here, from the railway track in Govindpur after the parents of the victim lodged a missing report last night," Officer-in-charge of Govindpur police station, Ashok Tiwary said.
Tiwary said the victim's family members have alleged that their son was killed over a love affair and that the girl's family members were behind the killing.
Police have taken the girl into custody after the victim's parents lodged an FIR in this connection, Tiwary added.
